ALright, so this is the second single from Cici's latest album, and its pretty hot!
I heard this song loong ago, but the video really adds to it. She looks good (though a bit...muscular lol), Reggie Bush looks damn good, and the dancing, as usual from Cici is hot too. Gotta love the boyish looks!

i definitely wish i could (safely) walk around late at night the way men do. i've been out late and you realize, even in nyc, there's a certain hour when all the women are just GONE. its weird. anyway, i'm a lesbian and i'm used to seeing androgyny and masculinity in women. i think ciara looks incredibly sexy dressing like a boy. isn't androgyny a huge component of modeling too? i know a couple of models(like amanda moore and jenny shimizu) who became big names in the business because of their ability to tap into their masculinity.
I know, the double standards in our society are obvious, men can get away with things women could never do, James Brown said it best "It's a man's world."
Ciara brings to light some of these things, specifically in relationships, and the backlash she has got for this video are AMAZING! OMG, people are calling her a lesbian, a she'male, saying she plays the role of a boy ' a lil too well' etc etc. Really it just shows how our world today isn't ready for women to switch it up. People are scared of anything different, and then start thinking the different way is the wrong way. Personally, I haven't been approached to portray an androginous look, (and I'm not sure I could pull it off :P) but I have heard of others being cast for bookings that needed a 'masculine' look, not just a short hair cut (which can add cuteness, think of Twiggy) but a strong face, firm jaw, that sort of thing. I definitely look up to respect models like Jenny Shimizu, and love how she's built a career on her individuality.
